DPC currently has 5 core committees: Business Management, Administration, Community Engagement, Missions, and Faith Formation. We view Business management as merging building & property maintenance, attending to DPC’s financial resources, and ensuring the historic preservation of The Downtown Presbyterian Church.
The business management committee oversees the financial stewardship of DPC and collaborates with the church treasurer to manage the church budget. We also plan for and oversee building improvements or capital projects as needed.
The Downtown Presbyterian Church of Nashville was entered into the Register of National Historic Places on July 8th, 1970, and upgraded to a National Historic Landmark on April 19th, 1993. Our committee works to uphold the legacy of DPC and share DPC’s rich history with the greater Nashville Community.
