The Downtown Presbyterian Church sanctuary is open to the public on a very limited schedule. Tours are currently on hold for the 2024 winter season. We plan to resume our monthly “4th Friday” tours in the spring. While our tours are on pause, we are still a very active congregation. We hope you will consider attending a Sunday morning worship service, held each week at 11 a.m. If you would like to schedule a private group tour, please complete the form at this link.
During tours, a DPC member will be available to provide information about the church’s history, discuss its unique architecture, and answer visitors’ questions. We have also created a QR code that visitors can scan to view an in-depth video of Jim Hoobler, our church historian, describing the space and sharing some of its wonderful histories. Only the sanctuary will be accessible during tours; all other areas will remain closed to the public.
Tours are a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the unique architecture, along with the mission & ministries of one of Nashville, TN’s oldest churches. They are free to attend, donations are welcomed. Reservations for these events are not required.
We have a wheelchair-accessible entrance in the alley by the church parking lot; through the gate – press the buzzer and staff will assist. If you require assistance or have accessibility questions please contact the church office at 615-254-7584 or email info@dpchurch.com prior to your visit.
We look forward to welcoming you to DPC!
