Formerly the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund, the Community Assistance Fund currently provides our Saturday morning essentials: socks, underwear, and much-needed toiletries. Each week, all who attend our Saturday morning meal program are offered these items for free as needed.
The CAF is used to purchase seasonal items, and items that have to be brand new (like underwear). As a Bombas giving partner, we have been exceedingly blessed to receive donations of socks. It is a wonderful thing to be able offer to all of our guests.
