Ava Kashani is a Nashville native with a degree in printmaking and a hand in everything. She’s a crafty lady with a cross-disciplinary approach to making. Her process includes, but is not limited to: garment-making, illustration, surface design, sculpture, and poetry. Her artwork has been featured in various exhibitions including the National Scholastic Art and Writing Ceremony in Carnegie Hall, New York, NY and Cheekwood Scholastic Art and Writing in Nashville, TN. Currently she is interested in the connection between identity and home, exploring how one informs and transforms the other.
