Rolin is a painter, illustrator, and designer; using mediums in pen and ink, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media and digital manipulation. He mainly focuses on two different styles he calls Structure and Chaos but also finds Balance with abstract impressionistic butterflies and wildflowers. His Structure series consists of symmetric geometric designs while his Chaos series focuses on abstract expression.
Rolin loves expressive color and much of his inspiration comes from his travels and the rich colors and designs he has experienced. Artists that have been influential to him are Paul Klee, Yayoi Kusama, Jackson Pollack, Mark Rothko, Josef Albers, M.C. Escher, Claude Monet and Frank Stella.
Rolin is happily married to his wife, Mary, and they have three furbabies; Bell, Milo and Ghost.
